The new 4D Explorer makes it far easier to navigate round your design. A single tabbed dialog shows the structure of forms, tables, procedures and so on. Double-clicking any object in the hierarchy brings it up for editing. Object-oriented design and extensive use of tabbed dialogs makes design quicker and more intuitive.
A new object-based form editor simplifies design and offers new objects including default buttons, pop-up menus, drop-down lists, combo boxes, hierarchical lists, tab controls, 3D buttons, 3D check boxes, 3D radio buttons, picture buttons and button grids. Global changes to your interface are made possible by style sheets and form master pages. There is also a new object-event mechanism for tighter control over data entry. Trappable events include On Drop, On Keystroke, On Getting Focus and much more.
